Modern slick UI is great but I love my wahoo screen, it’s the Game Boy of bike computers ❤ The intro made my day 😂

while a little cheesey/corny, I enjoyed the intro. more please

Great cold open. I get the impression there are still some conversations with family members that sound like this.

Good. Hope this will spur Garmin to release Edge 1050, it is about time. Competition is a wonderful thing.

Love Karoo but not sure this update adds enough to get me to upgrade at that price point. If they offered a trade-in like they did when Karoo 2 first came out I might consider.

Can you even imagine if BikePacking Bob did a collab with Backwards Hat Dylan Johnson
  • Loved the review 👍 Nice unit but from my perspective, the real improvements are the speed, bright screen and the improved battery life. Don’t want an app if the CGM doesn’t integrate. But no program for long time users (myself a customer since their kickstarter project) so I guess Hammerhead is grown up now. Time to let go of Hammerhead and get a Garmin or something Chinese.

Battery life is my prime concern in all of these units. I'm hoping that Wahoo is working on a solar charging unit so I don't need to learn an entirely new OS. My Wahoo got me through a 94 mile/ 10+ hour final day on a bikepacking route last year, while in route following mode, and I only had 4% battery left. I was concerned it would loose power before I got back to my truck. While I most likely wont do much longer than 94 miles on a ride, I can't guarantee I wont either. Bob's map & compass method does have it's merits. That method will work until the Earth's core stops spinning. And if that happens we will have much bigger things to deal with than "where am I heading?".

How come there's no closed captioning? 😢
  • Thanks for the video. I see the CPU is slower than an Android smartphone from 2014, no thanks! Saved my money.

Is the iPhone app compatible with Karoo 2? Because I can’t make it work, thanks
