Mages Keep Getting BUFFS In War Within Beta! Arcane Missile Build Looks Insane

Arcane got the least amount of changes during the Mage rework in Dragon flight. Love seeing them getting all the love now. It looks like it's going to be so damn fun

Never played mage but was looking at fire, how does frostfire feel in comparison to arcane Slinger? Similar or totally different?

I've never really been a big fan of mage play styles even though i always like the fantasy of arcane mage. Always a melee main. Play testing arcane however has been some of the most fun I've had with a caster. Tune the numbers and keep the playstyle exactly how it is 👌🏼

they removed chronoshift for arcane, so they intentionally busted their kneecaps for mage in pvp.

I did some testing as Spellslinger with Arcane Blast and without and well.. I found we don't even need Arcane Blast as Spellsplinger lol, as it should be! Because it's all about literally slingin' spells right?! Literally how it feels with Arcane Missiles, Arcane Barrage and Arcane Orb. Couple Icy Flow for just two of the spells we have to stand still to cast and BAM!! Full blown Mobile Caster and when I first heard about Spellslinger my initial thought was.. "Hmm Spellslinger eh? Well that means we will finally get a mobile caster cast like a hunter but with spells" At first that wasn't the case until these recent changes! If the playstyle remains the same when it goes live and the number tuning isn't so bad lol. I may have found my main! Honestly the numbers as Spellslinger Arcane Mage is waaaaay to overtuned xD It does need to be balanced. Fingers crossed I am loving this playstyle, without having to use that annoying Arcane Blast >.> I would imagine Sunfury would have to use Arcane Blast.

Wait they removed chronoshift?? That is like THE talent for arcane mage. That would be like removing the talent that sacrifices imps to give soul shards for demonology

no one plays arcane lol i main arcane and started this season later then most i got to 2k io and was already top15k in world and 100 on region but i love me arcane feels so good on beta compared to live but been playing arcane for 10 years will continue to play it no matter how bad or good it is just the best mage spec

missiles didnt get buffed, they removed the talent that gives dmg and just gave it in a flat damage buff

all these god dam videos about arcane mage now everyone is all of a sudden an arcane mage

well, they killed fire with one round of nerfs, so i kinda disagree that mages keep getting buffed

They better give fire some more defensives, they clearly don't have enough.

Keep getting buffed? umm, nerfing arcane blast 10% + removing crackling energy which is another 20% resulting in MINUS 30% its a buff? removing chronoshift will hit a little?! mages were not much dependable on movement?! umm mate, have y been watching same PvP matches as i did or we been watching different game? its massive, massive nerf, mages defend is made out of cardboard so avoiding clash with melee is mandatory, now it will be much much more difficult to do so.... i really hope they will reverse it or at least somehow compensate ( maybe +1 blink? )
