Ebe Dancel, Johnoy Danao and Bullet Dumas -- all armed with their guitars and passion for music -- deliver a moving performance of "Burnout" live on the Wish 107.5 Bus! The somber rendition of the popular Sugarfree track is a version distinct to the musical trio known as 3D. This version was also used as a theme song of a movie starring Maja Salvador and Paulo Avelino.

  • "I don't know if this is coincidence or not but the voices brought a different take and meaning to the song. The voice of Danao which is soft and represents, complacency, comfort, longing, a reason to hold on the relationship. The voice of Dumas which is rough, represents hardships, changes, regrets and misunderstanding in a relationship, a reason to let go. and the voice of Dancel which is a combination of the two, hope, reality, growing, and happiness. Which is whatever what we choose for our relationship, it is for the best. mas nafeel ko yung mensahe ng kanta. Love never fades." -Mel Bueno on the trio's live cover of this on Rappler. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qK7cv6il4-0

Kaya sya burnout kasi pagod. Pero hindi necessarily na ayawan na. Pagod lang. Burned out lang. Papahinga.
- Carson 💔
  • Danao - A man who has taken his first steps moving on Dumas - A young man venting his frustrations Dancel - An older man imparting knowledge to his youngers.

  • Dumas' voice is like a talking voice. Speaks truth, no filter. Like reality. Danao's voice is like a lullaby. Tells story and dreams. Dencel's voice's shows all stages of love. Fell in love, being in love, fell out of love.

unpopular opinion: pinakamagandang part kay Dumas. Napaka natural ng sakit.

This has been and always will be a comfort song for me. Not because I'm still waiting on someone, I did, but not anymore. It's because I know that feeling, of loving, being stuck in love, hurting for the sake of love, and still not get it back. But along with knowing that she possibly won't be back anymore, makes me be at rest. I now accept that she will not come back anymore, but I did enjoy loving her and being loved by her. what comforts me is the knowledge that at one point in my life, may it be the first of many, or the last, I did love. I experienced the bliss, the pain, the process, and the result. I loved, thank you! :)
