Old coldplay was just a different thing, another level.

My parents used to play this album on hot summer days when we were all hanging out outside by the pool. Food on the grill, drinks in hand, not a care in the world. They got divorced in 2010, and I got addicted to hard drugs 2nd half of high school. my dad passed away in 2016, when I was 90 days sober, and this album is one of the fondest memories I have of him. Thank you Coldplay.

It's been 15 years, I'll always come back to this album. ❤
  • This is my go to Coldplay album. I’m a boomer. This was their best.
  • I was at home, listening to the radio, one morning , back in 2003, when my daughter was just born... The speaker told he was letterally consuming this album, PARACHUTES, an amazing album.. and I started to follow Coldaplay, while my little baby changed my whole like, bringing such joy and deepness to my life .. What huge emotion to listen to it, still now, remembering all past small things and immense feelings.. GIFT FROM LIFE ❤

Sitting here, listening, reading comments, driven to tears. Tears roling down my cheeks because of this beauty, because this music means so much to me, to you.

Definitely one of the best albums ever created by human kind.

Parachutes, A Rush of Blood to the Head, and all the B-sides from that era is my favorite Coldplay material.

I remember seeing coldplay in a tent at t in the park in 2000. The 90s had just finished and music was morphing into something new and exciting, pulling all the sounds together from the last decade. I was 18 and had just started my apprenticeship, had started playing bass in my first group and was doing gigs, hanging out with mates, lads holidays, nightclubs, smoking weed, getting drunk and meeting girls. Good times with the world at our feet and all before everything was captured on smartphones!!

I cannot say they are my favorite band. But their music is on another level.
