Iβm Dr. Dana Brems, also known as Foot Doc Dana. As a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM), I treat everything from trauma including broken bones, other sports injuries, foot wounds, calluses, thick or ingrown nails; you name it! Being a #doctor is a serious job, but we can have a lighthearted side too. That's why I created this channel- to make medical themed #shorts videos for fun, while also helping to answer your questions.

I really would not be a good surgeon or doctor, I canβt even watch an animation like this without getting shivers down my entire body π€’π₯΄π₯΄
-
I remember this happening to my brother it kinda looked like a scar after he got the stitches
-
When u fall asleep first at a sleepover
-
Looks like a ladder stitch, now i wanna try closing a plush following this π
-
I've had this done for an abdominal surgical wound. It looks great and the suture end just breaks off after a while. I think you can repair jeans the same way, but ripped is the fashion now.
-
if i was a doctor or a surgeon and if i had to do those things i would get chills down my back and my neck! and so good!! :3 :3 :3 sending love to you and your vids!!
-
Hey! I love yours videos
-
You provide lots of great info!
-
I had supposedly dissolvable sutures, but my body did not dissolve or absorb them. They worked their way out over the course of two months. Not painful but definitely a hassle and left a scar.
-
Now it just looks like a scar or a cat scratch cool!
-
That is so cool, i could never imagine the precise technique needed
-
You be more like the Kama Suture eh Dr Mengala ?? ππ
-
Just like blind stitching in upholstery. Closing outside backs and sometimes outside arms. Except the furniture doesn't squirm! πππ

Can you do an animation about how they do stitches for ptosis eye surgery I've had this done but I wanna know how they did it i thought it was very cool how i cried blood when i woke up and throughout the day the first day after the surgery
-
Ohhhh that's why there's a range dot at the end of a surgical scar sometimes
-
Half the time they leave the knot sticking out, and you end up with a worse scar.
-
I had stitches 5 years ago on my foot because I cut it with glass so I went to the hospital to check it out but luckily god made sure there was no glass in it but I still got stitches. Also i got depression socks.
-
how are you suppose to get the knot out?
-
My brain:TWENTY STITCHES IN THE HOSPITAL ROOM ngl i'm a swiftie and that's fron out of the woods
-
And how do they take it off? Does that remain inside the skin?
