Plot summary fro Netflix:
Among the eccentrics and cult personalities in the stranger-than-fiction world of big cat owners, few stand out more than Joe Exotic, a mulleted, gun-toting polygamist and country western singer who presides over an Oklahoma roadside zoo. Charismatic but misguided, Joe and an unbelievable cast of characters including drug kingpins, conmen, and cult leaders all share a passion for big cats and the status and attention their dangerous menageries garner. But things take a dark turn when Carole Baskin, an animal activist and owner of a big cat sanctuary, threatens to put them out of business, stoking a rivalry that eventually leads to Joe's arrest for a murder-for-hire plot, and reveals a twisted tale where the only thing more dangerous than a big cat is its owner.

I get asked a lot about whether being a practicing attorney is like being a lawyer on TV. I love watching legal movies and courtroom dramas. It's one of the reasons I decided to become a lawyer. But sometimes they make me want to pull my hair out because they are ridiculous. Today I'm taking a break from representing clients and teaching law students how to kick ass in law school to take on lawyers in the movies and on TV. While all legal movies and shows take dramatic license to make things more interesting (nobody wants to see hundreds of hours of brief writing), many of them have a grain of truth. This is part of a continuing series of "Lawyer Reaction" videos. Got a legal movie or TV show you'd like me to critique? Let me know in the comments!

I was kind of floored by how literally everyone in this documentary seems to have some sort of criminal history, but then I remembered that this is peak Florida
  • @JMUDoc
"How many crimes were committed in Tiger King?" "Yes."
  • @mosisusasu9205
Eagles: "Do another Tiger King video!" LegalEagle: "Objection! Cruel and unusual punishment!"
  • I once saw someone comment Jeff Lowe is the personification of a monster energy drink & I haven't stopped thinking about it since
  • "Alligators, famously flammable" - Damn it, almost spat out my coffee.

I’m proud of Eagle actually using the Cool Cats and Kittens line after top comment called him out

There’s more restraining orders in this show than teeth
  • "Tiger King, again....for some reason" When I watched Tiger King, that what it said instead of a "next" button.

" a japanese ninja sword called...a katana." everything about that sentences is PAIN.

Analyzing Tiger Kings is the lawyer equivalent to waterboarding. "In this scene, we see them dumping a pile of expired meat..." Lawyer: "No Mas!"
  • @isaacorules
Technically, would the people that aren’t subscribed be called “illegal eagles”? 🤔
  • @damsonrhea
"Let us never speak of this again" I suspect you're tempting fate. Or at least your viewers.
  • @EllaJameson
I love how this channel started out focused on law students, but now you are The YouTube Lawyer Man with nearly one million subscribers.

You still didn’t talk about how Doc Antle gets away with paying his employees wayyyyy less than minimum wage!

Please do House MD gets lawyered, inspired by this text post from Tumblr: "My new and extraordinarily niche writing project is a fic for every episode of House, M.D. (2004).These fics will narrate the malpractice lawsuit(s) following the events of each episode. I’m calling the series Court-House and I will not be accepting criticism on that point"
