Looking for upcoming new MMOs and MMORPGs of 2018 or any other 'current year' is always a heavily searched term.. both on and off youtube. It caught me a bit by surprise when I was checking on what was coming out this year and 9 out of 10 places I checked had lists filled with games that have no chance of coming out this year. Not even ambiguous release dates.. games that say they are planning for 2019-2020.

It frustrated me enough to make a video for the first time in like 2 months.

Bless Online
Crowfall

That's really it.. and both of them have enough happening around them that you probably shouldn't get your hopes up too high.

Instead.. maybe this year could be a cool time to revisit MMOs and MMORPGs that you either never gave a shot or something initially turned you away. That's what I'll be doing.

Perfect video title.. tired of MMOs coming out "soon™"

Gotta say, your voice is a lot more pleasing than a lot of the other mmo you tubers, and you gave your thoughts in such a way that you don’t have to be a hardcore player to understand the majority of. I think I’ll keep an eye on your channel.

Thanks for the video Fevir, your content is always extremely high quality! I do disagree with you a little on the topic of Bless though, I do think it does some things better than the current offering atm. Also, only 1 iteration of the game has been a mass failure that was the first that launched in KR and RU. JPN isn't a wild success, but at the same time it still has a healthy player base and is much more successful than the past iterations. I do agree Bless has it's red flags though, however I am still excited to play it. Anyways great video, also really cool that you gave Nocht's new site a shoutout!

Crowfall looks really cool, and as said, the ideas are there! But man, watching that little gameplay was incredibly rough...

Oh my gosh I have been so bored with games, that I just stopped playing games altogether. I am now reading more books than ever. Bored is an understatement when I log into games these days. Books is where it is at these days.

one of my big bugs with most MMO games is that the combat doesn't feel good and lacks punch sitting there spamming atks till dead

A couple years ago, I used to spend most of my time playing mmorpgs, like many other people here I suppose, But since then I just can't have fun with any new one I try for longer than 3-6 weeks maybe. But I have to say, over the years, the only game I keep coming back to and having fun with for quite a long time before getting bored with it and leaving it for some months, is guild wars 2.

Am I the only one who has given up on that genre long time ago? I used to play Guild Wars 1 for about 2000 hours and Guild Wars 2 for about 2500. Quitting MMOs was the best thing that happen to me, everything in my life went for the better. Until I started playing MOBAs. Played Heroes of the Storm for about 1200 hours. Quitting MOBAs was the best thing that happen to me, everything in my life went for the better. Until I started playing Survival games. Played Rust for about 1000 hours. Quitting Survival games was the best thing that happen to me, everything in my life went for the better. Until I started playing Battle Royal games. I am yet to quit those. ;(

Crowfall sounds like a lovely concept... honestly I’d love to use it to build a few cities for my fantasy setting...
