DanTac Customs built this M&P C.O.R.E. .40L as a USPSA Limited Division Pistol. It has a KKM 5.5 inch barrel, Apex Forward Set Sear with Flat Face trigger, Speed Shooter Specialties (SSS) Brass Magwell and +4 Basepads, SSS tungsten guide rod and replacement recoil spring, Dawson competition sights and custom stippling, Cerakote and Micro Slick treatment by Trident Weaponry.

I didn't have any gamer loads for this match and was using some of my stock pile of 165 grain Gold Dot .40 S&W ammo, making about 180 Power Factor out of the KKM barrel - snappy recoil!

OMFG!!!!! WHAT AN AWESOME BUILD BRO! what is your trigger pulling at? also, are you going to be moving into open division and adding a comp to that kkm barrel? also, what is that cerakoted color? btw it looks like mine except I don't have the porting... and I have the ESP Magwell, not the limited one... but I'm going to be getting one for my 5 inch pro model and I'm going to run it all the way into open division and I'm going to lighten up the slide using Doug Presson (he does the best work) and then have th frame drilled for a cmore slide ride and run 9mm major in it....

damn bro... I've watched it again! you run this better than the rest of your pistols! what is your load formula for your rounds to meet 185 PF? is this a core performance center model? if so what happened to the stock ported barrel? is it for sale? are you using the teran +6 basepads? have you used the new Springer Precision +6? they look almost the same but it uses a set screw in the corner I stead of a retention pin like the Terans.

Nice shooting. I'd like to buy an M&P 2.0, 9mm FDE - 5" for USPSA or Practical Shooting here locally in NY. I considered the CORE because it's optics ready if I ever decided. But my heart really wants the 2.0. I notice you, like many others aren't using an optic. I know that depends in part on what division you shoot, but in your opinion should I be concerned about this?
