Friendly Note: "Amapiano" is one word and the "Ama" is pronounced just like "Mama" without the first "M" and not like an initial (AMA). It means "The Pianos". "Ama" denotes the plural form of nouns. It's a feature of the South African languages Zulu, Xhosa, Swati and Ndebele. S/o to you for covering our genre πŸ‡ΏπŸ‡¦
  • As an AmapianoType beat maker who's been making the genre for years now, i'd say you actually outdone yourself for a beginner!
  • @kaymorrr
80% of the sounds we use are FL Studio stock plugins
  • Yhooo bro, it's AMAPIANO not A.M.A. PIANO. The first part is in IsiZulu, the language of AmaZulu. Then the second part is in English. AMA-PIANO. It's like saying MAM with no "M" in the beginning of the word, that gives us AMA-PIANO. AMA means the... it is used as a prefix when speaking IsiZulu. E.g: The cats run. (AMA-kati abalekile....). AMA- is always used in plural form. Call me your IsiZulu teacher. 🀣🀣🀣🀣 Thank you sir, i like your music. Its MAKHOBA SITHEMBISO (THE KiNG SO), A PROUD SOUTH AFRICAN FROM AMAZULU TRIBE. 🌍

Amapiano has subgenres:Bique,Sgija, private School,Bacardi and then the commercial type you tend to hear.
  • KEY ADVICE: - BPM: 112 -114BPM - CLAPS ON THE 2 AND 4 OR LET THE PERCUSSIONS DO THE WORK - 4 ON THE FLOOR KICK PATTERN - LOG DRUMS ALWAYS CORRESPONDS TO THE ROOT NOTES OF THE CHORDS - LAYER LOG DRUM WITH SUB - SYTRUS MACHINE PRESET OR ECHO DROPS PRESET FROM PURITY FOR MOVEMENT
