You can't compare every song for How Much a Dollar Cost as a bar for the perfect category, M.A.A.D. City and HMADC are perfect for different reasons, you can't just use one song as a bar for perfection for everything else.

"U" is up there with some of my favorite rap songs of all time. The artistry and lyricism on that track is unmatched.

the first Kendrick song i ever heard was Swimming Pools back when i was in high school and i remember telling a friend this guy was going to be one of the GOATs. been amazing to see how his career has progressed since then. also i think Swimming Pools (Extended Version) is perfect, might be biased
