We Catholics are living through a very difficult period in the life of the church. At 73 I never dreamed I would see blasphemous masses taking place and instillation of pagan idols in our churches. I pray daily for the conversion of those initiating these abuses and for the rest of us to stay the course.

Will someone please stand up and point to Truth...preserving the dignity of our blessed mother! Why are such abominations allowed? We need to defend our beloved mother.

3:26 Because nothing says "patriarchy" like Mary wearing a diadem and holding a scepter, or with a crown of stars around her head and the Lord as an infant in her arms, or with the Moon under her feet, or crushing the serpent.
  • For the sake of his sorrowful passion have mercy on us and on the whole world.Amen.
  • As a married woman who has given birth, I would be horrified if someone took a photo or recreated a likeness of my children being born. Those are private moments. Not all holy and beautiful acts are meant to be depicted in stone. The sacrament of marriage isn’t valid until it’s consummated. That doesn’t mean the marital act should be made into a sculpture. Some things are so holy and reverent they deserve to be veiled. The sculptor clearly doesn’t realize that.

God loves His most Holy Mother! This archbishop will have a lot to answer to Jesus for allowing this sacrilege in the House of God!

I am in shock. I cannot believe we live in this time when such disgrace is rampant.
  • This is just plain disgusting. There’s a clear disdain and disrespect to our blessed mother’s dignity and her humble modesty. For anyone not getting why we Catholics get angry seeing stuff like this, imagine some stranger seeing your birth and then publicly displaying you and your mother in that moment of sensitivity and privacy on full vulgar vain display. Utterly disgusting and I pray for whoever created this abomination to repent to our lord immediately.
  • Just yesterday I have been in Linz in the cathedral to pray for this blasphemous incident.
  • This seems like a good time to point out the first Saturday devotion of reparation to the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

The sad fact is that Art died a long time ago. That thing she created was purely for shock value, like much of the so called “art” is today. You can tell by her reaction that it’s the case. E.g. “Everyone is so closed minded and it’s because I’m a woman!” 🙄 She never thought to think that maybe it is just really bad “artwork” and very childish?
  • You all missed the point of the video. The guest and interviewer acknowledged that it's not the human body that is bad, it's because the human body is sacred that modesty is required. If you read the bible you'll see that the most sacred and awe-inspiring objects were supposed to be veiled.

Women have the right to do what they want with their own body, but not another person's body. You can tatoo up your body, put earrings in unspeakable places, abuse your own body, but you have no right to abuse another person's body. A baby at any phase of the pregnancy is a living being, a human, not an organ to be removed.
  • What processed the priest to agree to this. To the witch woman, did she ask Mary for the right to expose her parts. After all Mary has autonomy over her own body. See how their hypocritical words bounce back on them.

Pray for us Catholics in DE, A, CH. We have so many problems here. Few people go to church (a few %) and those who do go do not understand the basic truths of the faith, this manifests itself in the fact that many of them do not go to confession. Many of our bishops and theologians are not Catholics at all, but follow a different ideology. Such things also happen: Last Sunday I was in a large regional church when I knelt for communion and was denied. The pastor of this parish forbids giving communion by mouth. You have in USA Euchristic Congress, we have “Synodaler Weg”. God help us!

As a woman, I officially prefer the patriarchy, thank you.
