  • The biggest problem with tourism is rent, it increases the rent making it hard for local residents to pay their rent, the solution for that is not fighting tourism but placing rules regarding who has the license to rent to locals and who to tourists, and a huge tax for those renting to tourists, thus choosing to make affordable rent to residents.

I used to go to the balearia isles in the 60s / 70s it was great Spanish food Spanish wine it was great. It started get in bad with the English tourists in the 80s/90s I was so ashamed of their behaviour in Spain I stopped going all you saw were signs for a full English and cheap beer it went down hill from then on. I stopped going and went farther a field to avoid my fellow country men / women. We are the only country were having a good time means going out half undresses and getting drunk until you vomit shout your mouth off and cannot stand up. I thought the balearia isles would start to turn us away years before now. I back them 100%
