Clip 4: I thought that he was acting more kind of playful, bashful about the girl being a dominant in the relationship that was my gut feeling
  • In Clip 8, there is some information from the lady. She, even though using the shawl, she has her arms folded, standing in an authoritative pose, head cocked forward, and eyes fixed, and I bet that she is standing broad, with feet either at or wider than shoulder width apart. This was pretty much the same pose that I saw from my drill instructors in the Army. She stands this way, if needed, to bark out commands, or give eye glares. This also a mom's pose.

i would like to know if the big guy had confirmed, that he is the leader....because i´m pretty sure, that the girl is the BOSS :))

In clip 8, the older couple definitely thought that the interviewer were making a sexual related question at first, hence the look of superiority. When they realize it's not, then comes the surprise, and them both laughing, the man's sly look at his wife and the the wife looking subtly at the camera. Agreeing with anothers comment who mentions the wife's guarded power pose, it's clear who rules the relationship outside of the bedroom here between these two.

Hello! I'm a huge fan of these body language exercises / micro facial expressions, very happy to find your channel. Are there any chance to upload more these kind of videos? All the best!
  • for the leader role conversation, they were both showing signs of happines but what gave it away was the girls brief sadness lip press and the look away moment

Please make more videos like this. I'm learning a lot.

This is neat. In Clip 2, I also noticed the woman looked away a few times when the beach holiday was mentioned like, "Meh, I'm bored with this option, let's hear another option." She did not look away at all when the active holiday was mentioned. The big boyfriend guy did the same look down when his relationship was mentioned. Would this be considered a "negative" microreaction?
  • Can you do more of these excersizes in the streets? This is really entertaining.

I really started to learn after watching ur vedios sir... Thank u
  • nice thanks!, but of course the scenario changes from people being actually willing to find out what they like the most, vs the scenario of people actually trying to hide their reall thoughts... of course i get this one is for beginners and i learnt a lot thanks

Great videos for navigating the human experience. This will help a lot of people living with aspergers or autism.

In Clip 2, the woman tilted her head when the student was talking about the beach. This means distrust or unbelief.

You should show the answers, clip 4 had some mixed answers based on actual body language. He wasnt dancing, he was leaning towards her and even faces her to engage her. He almost turns away as if to say "they dont need me"
  • @eddiebear34
In clip 4 I'm getting the signals that the guy is attracted to your student

I have been studying body language and micro expressions since my adolescence and I can tell you that the clip number 4 his more nuanced than that. Yes he have happy feet but he have them since the beginning of the video...so we can't take this this for a sign because this is his baseline. When the interviewer say "one quite happy to follow", the guy look down and the girl show a little bit of anger at the same time (from this angle of camera) maybe it's sadness but she is too at the side for being sure of that. Also you must take into account his posture, hands in front of his part...maybe this is a standard position for him or maybe he feel uncomfortable. We need to hear it from them, who is the real leader in this relationship.

In your clip 8, you don't even need the question or microexpressions. The woman is in a position indicating control and evaluation of the interviewer. The man's body posture is more of an intermediary between them. He likes the interviewer, is interested in the interview and hoping the woman with him approves. Paying attention to both, though he's only being interviewed by the interviewer. He's checking with the woman. The woman is responding for herself. No approval needed. Facing the interviewer. Ignoring both cameraman and man. She is not all that impressed by the interviewer.
