‘Knows she can’t win’: Barack Obama withholds endorsement of Kamala Harris

A Biden family insider revealed to the New York Post that Obama’s decision came because he believes Harris cannot beat Trump.
Following US President Joe Biden’s announcement he was not running for re-election, he immediately endorsed Vice President Harris.
Chuck Schumer and the Clintons followed suit, endorsing the 59-year-old as the Democratic presidential nominee.
Former president Obama, however, remained silent and chose not to endorse the former prosecutor.
“Obama’s very upset because he knows she can’t win,” a source said.

Meh. The Obama pro forma endorsement will come; it's just a question of timing. Obama will do anything he can to ensure a Democrat win, or at least minimize the loss this November. This election is about his legacy as much as it is Biden's -- Biden's term was, in many ways, Obama's third and protected Obama's "accomplishments" from conservative rollback. And Republicans are salivating for payback.
