  • Telugu people!!! Take pride that such a landmark cinema came from your industry!! I was awestruck and in disbelief while watching KALKI 2898 AD The quality of film making is something that other industry will take some time to achieve. Just one request is that major credits and praise should be given to one and only Nag Ashwin for his outstanding vision and mind!! Truly amazing!! Still in its hangover and cant stop talking about it
  • @nageshk7001
I don't agree to the point of lack of emotional engagement I think Nag Ashwin deliberately didn't present the negative stuff in a heartbreaking way because its the end phase of kalyug where negativity is at its peak and things like deepika being thrown in complex by her parents etc. so character's way of looking at negative things and portraying is more subtle than being dramatic, because of the threshold of seeing negativity and reacting to it is changed.
  • I would say again salute to Nag Ashwin and the entire team for pulling of India’s ist proper sci fi dystopian film
  • Nagi is a movie genius. I am blown away by his vision and execution. Wow Man. Watched the movie yesterday and still the visuals and characters are all over my mind. The Mahabharat scenes and Amit ji and Kamal ji's characterisation. How did you nail it! Please announce the next part soon.😊❤

Disha - did not like this character. BUT....Her addition I believe was not just a romantic interest. Yes it took take us into the Complex world which was necessary as the political dynamics there was quite interesting. The second was that in the engine room she mentions the power source of the Complex and this essentially becomes a weak spot for us in a future story when/if the Complex is to be destroyed. Currently we know she is inside and her joining the resistance is very possible. Dulquer - We believe he is alive. It must also be noted he also acts as reverse foreshadowing for Bhairava as Karna. As Karna was abandoned (Bhairava found in that pod does not remember or know his parents) . Adhiratha - foster parent of Karna himself a descendent linked to Krishna. Deepika - respectfully disagree. Deepika character Sum80 world is based on a little box. Her emotions are therefore contained in a very smallnarrative until she finds herself part of a bigger purpose she does not understand. She is also painted as very sheltered..not understanding marriage or Sex (implied). She walked through the fire - reflecting her strength and power. Her power was discussed by Ashwa uncle - when he said God does not give such a responsibility to someone not strong enough. She herself possesses something unique and powerful as a vesself for Kalki. Lastly when she grabs Manas shoe I think she herself demonstrated hidden strength. I believe beyond the Mahabarrata references in popular culture she is actually to be something like a Sarah Connor. A very well written and beautifully portrayed character Raia - really believe many things woke up in the interval and it was destined for her to cross paths with Ashwa Uncle so I believe she herself is a weapon or figure that has been awaked. Any one has any theories I watched both Hindi and Telegu versions and I felt the Hindi dialogues were not good and the subtitles were poor. But Telegu was perfection

Lets be honest, bollywood is seriously salty about how Telugu industry is trumping them 😂😂😂
  • @kprasad122
If bhirava is serious character from start then you wouldn't have connected to climax scene. You only would say I didn't see karna in him he was acting in the say way from the start.
  • I don't know why people think complex song sequences are useless, it is the only time we get to see why complex is seen as desirable and why people are selling and killing each other just to get into it. If it was not shown people would've said the director showed everyone is obsessed with complex but didn't show what they're obsessing over. It's a double-edged sword.
  • This is one of the best movies I saw in theatre, these people who talk about anything else are just bullshitting heavily, by the way I am from Tamil Nadu, and Telugu cinema is at least 10 years ahead of Tamil cinema. I say this even after getting abused as sambar.
  • This is ridiculous, already she gave negative review about kalki and again why this cringe discussions , why this north Indians not able to digest telugu films success , bcoz movie is getting good collections , and positive mouth talk day by day
  • @venkatVe6
Sorry guys I didn't felt like the way you guys are saying about the first half. Every thing is connected with the story building. 3 hours gone just like that with wonderful experience
  • @AyAy008
Kalki is quantity over quality. The VFX and Bachchan were the best part of the movie.
  • @Animodeus
3:55 Prabhas backstory is fake Bujje said he changes his backstory every week
  • @harshaaleti5609
The irony is that the industry which did not make any pathbreaking films for a very long time criticizing others on their storytelling and directing. SandeepReddyVanga was right all along
  • @vloglife2221
RRR is not made for World Cinema, it Organically found audience, when it landed on netflix tiles and people started noticing it and fell in love. Even Kalki 2898 AD , has ingredients to get that Organic audience from around the globe, especially when Disney, Marvel, DC comics, Star wars almost all of the franchises are failing badly
  • @VARMOT123
This is RRR all over again . Certain section of hindi and tamil print media crapping on it . They probably went in to watch knowing that they won't like it . Youtubers and foreigners loving it. I am not talking about you guys
  • After seeing this …one thing is clear …”Sandeep reddy vanga “ is the right person to deal with you guys 🤦🏾
  • @RajKumar11138
It is sad that they have spent most of their discussion time about Kalki on “what they didn’t like” rather than “what they actually liked “. It definitely should have been the other way around, considering what this has achieved with limited resources.
  • I watched till 4:17 and would like to state two things for the things they said 1) bhirava lied about dulquer story because at the end of the story bujji says “don’t believe him (bhirava)if you ask it again tomorrow he will tell another story ”. 2) roxie(Disha) used bhirava to sneak in to the complex because she deliberately told bhirava that she is going to the complex and in complex when bhirava started commotion she went aside and we don’t know where . Director nag is so brilliant he used that slow narrative part to integrate these details.
