  • Just a note: The normal Sunday video will be coming tomorrow. I made this one quick because the timing was right. See you then!

You should be proud, Pete! You and Hillarie put a lot of effort into that system and it's working great. The ponding water in the pasture is just cosmetic and once it's graded and all fixed up, the cows will love it. Congrats!

Congratulations Pete on a job well thought out and well done! I was almost as happy as you were to see the water flowing out of those pipes.
  • So gratifying to get that first big rain and see the whole thing working.
  • @Cookiegrabber-
Beautiful job well done Pete! I see so many homeowners just tear into a project like this, and it ends up doing terrible damage to a neighboring property. Thank you for being a wonderful steward of the land, among many other things!
  • Loved the ending!!!! Yep, lots of 10-30 second soundbite experts out there!!!! Keep being you and cant wait for the next episode

Hi Pete and Hillary, I am going to be one of those keyboard typers Pete to tell both of you great job on that huge drainage project! So cool to see it working and how your vision and knowledge expertise worked. Love your channel and appreciate your effort and hard work for us to see it. All the way in Colorado!

What timing this storm came in to give the drainage a real test run. So satisfying watching the outlet pipes gushing with water.

I'd call that a win any day, great job. Like you said, the goal isn't to remove all the water just the excess. It's not a parking lot or industrial business, it's a farm which needs water. So long as the puddles consistently lower after the rain stops then it's all good.

Congratulations Pete. I am happy for your success. It’s so satisfying to see a plan, and the research behind it, come to pass.
  • A feeling of accomplishment Pete. Then again, I would have been shocked if it wasn't performing well. Your knowledge and experience in this area insured this result. Now all you need is the ground to settle. Murfreesboro, TN
