In short… the "bad ending" I accidentally triggered was actually the "less bad ending" ? In my version I left my dead kid behind, burned his picture and moved on (dealing with the pain of a loss is a mature ending). In this "good ending" I kill all of the people of a random plane, hoping a compatible kid will survive the crash, kidnapp and impale him alive to save my own son… that at the end become a monster anyway?!?!? That's NOT a good ending from any point of view !!!

Sahara somewhat reminds me of the Umbrella Corporation. Also what a good game, it combines good crafting with mystery, horror and decent exploring. I in no way expected alligators/crocodiles, I was just walking along the beach of the lake and heard a loud snap noise, I turned around to see this big monster charging after me. Praise upgraded arrows, saved my life. 😂 Thanks for explaining everything more in detail, had no idea this game was so deep!

This is by far the best video I've seen about the lore. Clear concise and chronological! Great job! My only problem is.. WHERE IS PART 2!?!? AHHHHHHHHhhhhHhh

I always thought that the reason timmy mutates in the final cutscene was because someone had removed the sacrificial child his father had kidnapped from the plane he brought down and put in the relic. Like a fked up cycle, that parent would then down a plane to kidnap a child to resurrect their child and so on and so forth.

Wow - this is an excellent breakdown of the story! I have not seen anyone go this in depth with the timeline either - I didn't even notice the dates on magazines and how long people have been coming to the island. Awesomeness!!!!
