There have been several encounters in my life that have brought about transformation. One was with God. All were with God's grace
  • Note to self: "I don't know myself" and "My life is more than what I know". God bless Rev Williams. 26:07 on.

Be open, “love thy neighbor as thyself” but remember proper distance. Yes be open, but not so much that your brains fall out. Don’t condescend the other by hiding your passion for your truth—fall into your struggle but critically, aim at full ethical responsibility inside the heart of your tradition.

20:53 It is actually quite reasonable that certain expectations should be laid on those holding ecclesiastical office. They are, after all, responsible for faithful exercise of that office, and must be evaluated in line with the faith tradition which has created that office. If that is the kind of "projection" that is involved, it is surely justified.

'Rowan needs no introduction, but I'm going to talk about him for three minutes anyway. . I hop he likes my compliments and gives me a footup ..'
  • For all the talk nothing changes, people remain tribal, defensive, and unfriendly. We just talk about it and think that is enough.

what an odd theme tune! always interesting to hear what dr williams has to say, however.
  • Preach sin and its consequences , repentance . Jesus separates he came to divide families.
  • There is not one talk or lecture that has done anything to further Christianity, they are distractions and entertaining for armchair hobby Christians. Christ wanted people to follow him not read about him or waffle on about him and certainly not waffle on about non Christianity with daft stories.

Being an Orthodox Christian I'm shocked by this man's speech. Please flee this church founded by a king. I wouldn't be surprised if he was a Freemason. Absolutely shocking. Thank God for the true Orthodoxy and its priests!
