The thing that really frustrates me though are teammates that don't say anything until right up until our squad gets eliminated, they just have to get like one or two first and final words in at which point I have no chance to say anything back since they've already quit. Solid teammates make all the difference! You can be one of the best players in the world and still get dropped right away simply because your teammates aren't good enough to hold their own or smart enough to not get themselves in trouble. Teammates that communicate and work together are key! And I loved seeing those toxic punks get completely waxed in the end!

Comms are sooo helpful! I never use to use them, but now I see why they're helpful. Literally it's to make sure your teammates know your intentions before you do something. So if you ever get teammates that seem like they're running off to do something random, there's probably a reason why. They might be looking for ammo, heals, etc (or even wanting to use the crafter). It's strange, but most people still don't use pings. I'll take pings over having teammates use no comms. I've also noticed that players are much more receptive to comms as well. Say you get knocked by someone hiding somewhere and you're not sure where, you can let your teammates know to not go for the revive because someone is ratting and shooting from a weird spot. I also remember a few seasons back where I got this annoying Loba that was super selfish in ranked. She did absolutely nothing and would take everything. Then when me and our other teammate got knocked, she grabbed our banners and respawned us in the middle of a fight and took off and hid in a corner. I ended up running into her in the next game and me and my teammates wiped out her and her teammates AND won the game. It's just the best feeling :)

yea, stopped playing apex right before the ranked split. been playing since season 0, and all my friends who used to play quit back a few seasons ago. its so aggravating solo queing into plat lobbies and getting teammates that almost seem like level 0 AI bots.

Nothing beats teammates who talk shit after doing the least damage. My favorites are the ones who talk massive shit, and leave before you see they got 0 damage... 😂
