  • The word impregnable is fully justified. These will definitely last for a thousand years. What a brilliant place to live. Imagine having a flak emplacement as a patio! I am so jealous!

This Flack Tower will out last the Pyramids.
  • It's a pretty impressive tower, I saw it when I was at this Carnival being hosted next too it in 2019. I recognized it straight away when I asked my friends who are locals there if that was what I thought it was. It definitely stands out in comparison to the other buildings that surround it.

There's a lot of potential in these structures. Imagine building an outdoor bar or a cafe at the top? Maybe add a pool... The building can certainly take the weight, since it probably has tons of poured concrete and steel rebar inside. They could become a nice Hotel if properly rebuilt inside.
  • The 12.8cm Flak 40 guns that sat atop were Colossal Getting them up there must have been a challenge!

Now I've been to the music store in the bunker many times but never on the roof - thanks for the insight - greetings from near Hamburg

The most impressive for me is, to think about the fact, that Hitler himself walked the stairs in this Bunker. It's all original and a time witness. It really fascinates me.

Cool video. I fought my way to the top of one of these in the 'Zombie Army Trilogy' video game, lol.

These things always remind me of the great Crusader castles in Jordan and Syria like Kerak and Crac du Chevalier. They too were built in war and are still there. Ive always wondered why U.S. citizens in Tornado Alley dont build in concrete!

OUTSTANDING. I wonder it they will sell me one corner to build an apartment? I cant imagine the SOUND of all the guns firing up there during and air raid - SUPERB. Must have been like 20 thunderstorms on meth!
