Boom Beach is a strategy game and combines attacks on other players with attacks against computer based bases. The game's story-line is set in a tropical archipelago with the player on an island with defenses and troops (similar to the gameplay in Supercell's Clash of Clans game) Players can build their base, upgrading their defenses and other buildings, and unlock troop upgrades. Boom Beach includes single player campaign play as well as the ability to attack other players in multiplayer mode. It has been a top 10 game in 22 countries at its launch. The game pits the player vs. an enemy known as "The Blackguard" who are often represented by Lt. Hammerman. Apart from the main aspect of the game, there is also a cooperative form where you create task forces. Everyone must gather Intel (whether it be by surviving or ordering attacks, or by rewards), where then upper classed players then attack bases. Each attack lasts a day, with a varying amount of Intel in order to initiate, and the bases are separated from archipelago. I agree that offense is generally most important, but I also feel that it is often better to upgrade a lower cost item than to sit on the resources overnight because then so much is lost to raids when you get back to the game. With that said, I feel residences are the most important low-cost upgrade to choose whenever this happens, as they produce more gold so you can upgrade Armory items faster.

As a new player to boombeach, i knew everything you said, to upgrade offensive first for exemple. But rather as they are really expensive is, in my opinion, the best thing to do.

upgrading storages is useless at hq24. because you can max your defences without upgrading your storages. but why did they add a new storage level? hq 25 is comming soon.

I tried to keep both my builder going constantly like clash but the loot too hard for that. Found it better to just chill out about idle builders and try to do one expensive offense upgrade along with cheapest possible defense. I pretty much have to wait for mega crab for sculptor upgrade. Last crab I got armory, sculptor, hq, both gold storage, and some landing ship done.

So you do HQ, sculptor, vault, armory?, then landing crafts? Every hq lvl?

HQ 22, level 16 tanks and level 11 grenadiers and captain everspark level 13 with explosive level 5. Makes it fun as you have to manouvre the troops around instead of hitting attack and letting scorchers run riot.

there are certain hq level that let you upgrade your sculptor & since i just unlocked bullit my radar is not my 2nd most priority to upgrade after my hq upgrade, now i'll be focusing on my crafts, armory, troop updrades, vault & yea the sculptor if its available.
