Oh absolutely! People learn the dance steps when the songs are released. In fact the naatu naatu step was so famous that it was trending all over reels and TikTok throughout the world. You should see the theatre response of this song. People were cheering, dancing and throwing confetti. It's like a festival.

SS RAJAMOULI is the most beloved, loved, kind and so humble director his last 4 films are the highest grossing Indian movies So much respect for him , his name is enough to turn theatres into stadium 😍❤️❤️❤️ he is my fav. Director , I can't wait to watch his next movie hope he starts soon

@23:49 the subtitles are available in OTT platforms. The word "naatu" means raw/rustic/crude/unrefined/impulsive/spontaneous etc. So, the protagonist was asking the white guy... "Not those refined/calculated dance forms/moves brother ... Can you perform raw dance moves? Like..dancing as if you are green chillies or dancing as tangy as a raw mango..or dancing as if the entire earth tremors"
  • I absolutely loved your words or intro before getting into the video. So genuinely good 👏

The soundtrack is really amazing -- I honestly think even more than Naatu Naatu for Best Song, the sound track deserved the Oscar. It was amazing.
  • Songs --- Soulful - Lal Ishq Or Nahin Saamne Magical/Fantastical - Dhivara Fun - Chaiyya Chaiyya Cute Fun - Apna Bana Le or Yenti Yenti Movies --- 3 Idiots (must watch) Jab We Met (romcom) Gargi (moving/inspiring) Pink (empowering)

SSR really wanted the fans to get into the dance and have it be popular..which was a stroke of genius, really.

  • India has 28 States and almost every State has own style of dance, clothing food and language. It's like a world in a country
  • Most of the times west thinks Bollywood is Indian Cinema, it isn't bollywood is just hindi language Indian films, and RRR, Bahubali, Pushpa, Eega is from Telugu language, while KGF, kantara is from Kannada language, and Vikram, PS1 is from Tamil industry, and Malayalam language is another industry they are known for their amazing stories. I hope this little info helps you to take off to work on Indian Cinema.
  • Before watching RRR my request to you watch "eega" and Bahubali 1&2 from same director.
