Might be a boring character, but he is without a doubt the bravest Joe. Hats off to all bomb disposal units in real life. When everyone else evac and look for cover you guys go in... RESPECT

Never had him as a kid but I can't wait to get him now.

I don't get the thing with the mines. It doesn't make sense having a giant peg on the bottom so they don't lay flat. Wish they would have done the mines like the O-Ring figure, so you could stack them in there. Would have been nice to have a clear visor on the bomb helmet, too. Still a great figure.

I liked him back in the day. Not bad in classified

If you REALLY want him to look like the vintage 3.75 Joe....remove his thigh, shoulder, and neck guards and he's spot-on. He does have the additional red insignia on his right shoulder underneath the guard. Cheers!

I never had Trip Wire when I was a kid, I always thought he was a boring looking character hahaha But I must say, Trip Wire in Classified looks pretty damn good!
  • @gmarcus9128
Def agree the original figure was so boring but this one looks great. Suffers from lack of buckle paint of course. That will be my hobby

Looks like he'll make for a good juggernaut custom base. Usually I don't get gi joe classified because of their trigger hands not tilting in an angle that i like and clothed figures look best with cloth goods instead of plastic molded clothes.

As a kid, I always placed Trip in that main laser Cannon on the Joe HQ. He would throw his mines like Frisbees from his post. Had his 25th version mostly out of obligation. After all, I do consider myself a big, ugly YoJoeSexual. This version looks outstanding! But, I just can't bring myself to pay that deluxe price. He's one of those characters that gets a pose, gets display space, but, doesn't get a second thought. Drop one torso armor. Drop the rat. Drop the robot. Incorporate the collar into the torso armor...keep the two helmets, backpack, mines and detector...$25...wouldn't have thought twice.

When Kingpin meets Fight Club . . . The collab we want and need Thanks for review and giggles 🤭

Love it. Gah!!! It suggz to wait until the Novemberz to get mine. I think I will eventually kit mine out to b the most classic version. Remove the shoulder and leg gaurds and he will look ultra-old-school Tripwire! LOL, I wonder if Hasbro would dare to make a "retro" carded version where he's all red and orange, like the Read-N-Learn version.
