The time has finally come

Sonic Boom Knuckles the Unleashed was taking a long walk on the beach enjoying the brilliant scenery of the Apotos coast. He was lost deep in thought, trying to unravel the secrets of the universe. However, this deep thought was soon broken by a shriek of terror. Sonic Boom Knuckles the Unleashed raced towards the noise. He saw a helpless ice cream cone being tormented by robots from the nefarious Dr. Eggman. Sonic Boom Knuckles the Unleashed could not stand by and do nothing. He raced toward the robot and quickly defeated it and saved the poor cone. The person graciously thank Sonic Boom Knuckles the Unleashed but told him some disturbing news. The entire beach had been taking over by evil Eggman robots. Sonic Boom Knuckles the Unleashed springs into action to save the world from Dr. Eggman's Tyranny. Only time will tell what adventures Sonic Boom Knuckles the Unleashed will go on.

However there was just one problem:

I love how Chip refers to Boom Knuckles as a monster, and when he sees himself and goes "looks like things have gotten pretty ugly." This is an amazing mod.

I like how Chip's icon during the gameplay is a picture of ice cream. The amount of effort that went into this, not a drop wasted.

It would have been funny if it was the ice cream cone that ate chip. Not only would you mod Chip into the ice cream cone, but you would mod the actual ice cream cone into chip.

So Knuckles DID make an appearance in Sonic Unleashed, it wasn't scrapped, wish Shadow did too. As a side note, the way the modder managed to make Knuckles mouth and eyes move even with some minor clipping is fucking amazing.
