Here she is! Candymare is finally finished! She took way too long to make, but I loved working on her. I’m excited to start working on our next projects, and I hope we can all make some cool things together in 2022!

This video actually got wiped off my phone completely, and my boyfriend had to restore HIS phone to my backup to get it back. It took about nine hours, that’s love right there. Also, there's no backing music because every time I tried to export it with some cool lo-fi tunes, the video quality tanked super badly. Please BYO background music I guess.

  • Wow, I created this character and even I'm kind of horrified by the final product! You've got one heck of a talent.

“for better or for worse, i am a homestuck cosplayer” is such a powerful statement
  • @Clonetos
There's something oddly wholesome about this, yes you're skinning animatronic toys and reshaping them into horror pieces but on the other hand you're giving them a new purpose and in a way breathing new life into them. If this was a toy story situation I think they'd be shocked at first but soon learn that while they may look horrifying to some they're getting just as if not more love from their new owner and are appreciated more.

the way the animatronic moves adds so much to the creepiness of the whole thing i love it so much

I showed this to my mom because I thought it was very cool and her reaction was "*gentle gasp* oh what a beautiful lady" and she said it was so sweet that you gave her a new life!!

Turning an ordinary children's toy into a monstrous Stephen King style beast figurine. Impressive
  • Watching this honestly gave me so much nostalgia from when I had a butterscotch pony, that thing was so soft and undoubtedly one of the best toys I ever had

It makes me happy when something abandoned like a toy or something is giving new life when it is restored or recreated in an art piece. Your channel needs more views

I did not appreciate how BIG Butterscotch/Candy Mare was until I saw you petting her at the end, and when I saw your kitty run around her! Good GOD that's a lot of fabric and glue and foam and PATIENCE. And skill! Super super cool work, I'd adore getting to see your customs in some cool lighting or even in some sort of scary walk-through exhibit!!

As a veteran mlp fan (a casual pegasister, if you will), this makes me so happy!!! You truly did the Candy Mare so much justice and it gave me so much nostalgia. You have an incredible skill and the loving hard work you put into this is so clear to see 💗 You really gave Butterscotch a new life and I love it so much!! 🥰 Thank you!

Furreal Friends Are Literally So Perfect. I Love That You Brought My Two Childhood Togethers
  • thankfully instead of picking up a animaltronic that has a blood thirsty child haunting it, you only got a animaltronic that induces pur nightmares
  • You've salvaged a working animatronic from a dumpster, AND your floor is b/w checkered pattern? Are you... are you still okay? Like, in one piece at least?
  • Hey, this turned out really awesome man! I don't know much about the character but honestly this animatronic and the whole process blew me away, so thanks so much for your hard work :)

I don't care if this is a year old, I found you as of recent and the way you portrayed the characters that I've seen so far onto the different furreal friends, HOLY HELL that's some talent. That Candy Mare looks like it'll eat ya
  • @moonlightwite
I had never read the Candy Mare series before seeing this video, but now I've come back after reading through almost all of it. You did a fantastic job with her! Also, I wanted to say it's nice to see a woman working with animatronics. I hope you've inspired some girls to try and see if they can customize stuff themselves.
  • @strayiggytv
Maybe in the other countries furreal friends are hard to come by but in the states they're straight up rubbish. The sheer amount of Torch the dragon and Tyler the tiger who ride the Goodwill carousel and end up in the dump is staggering. I wish more people would customize them! I wish they had the same level of fan base as furby because as it is now furreal friends that retail for $99 usd can't find a buyer at $4.99.
  • I had Butterscotch as a kid, and it makes me so happy seeing her repurposed into something that can be enjoyed by an older audience!
  • I've never actually heard it be called candy floss here, haha! We always just called it cotton candy here in the us! Ah, not to insult you or be rude of course! Just wanted to say! Also, I love seeing how different people are able to bring old animatronics to life!! So cool, and you definitely went above and beyond with this one :)
