Tennis courts are so much quieter.... Because no one uses them
-
It's a park - outside!
-
Imagine this is what your daily problems entail
-
Pickleball is definitely a bit more noisy than tennis. I get it. But it's at a public park! Where the hell could the noise by THAT loud that someone is making complaints?
-
Annendale has the second most Karens per square mile in Virginia, after Alexandria.

As a tennis player, who finds pickleball kind of loud and annoying…please leave the courts alone, and allow people to play pickleball! Any kind of outdoor, social, exercise should be encouraged over most else. You want the peace and quiet? Put on your headphones, or move out to the countryside.

Hey, ppl start playing, not boycotting 😢
-
Reminds me of when baseball fields got replaced by soccer fields.

Considering the obesity problem in the USA, wouldn't it make more sense to add more PB courts all around town?
-
It’s hard enough to get a court as a tennis player nowadays, so I can only hope my county makes the same move. They need to build separate courts for PB.
-
What noise!? Do they shout? Play loud music? I don’t get it.
-
Maybe someone can design a pickleball ball that's actually made of pickles. Should be less noise
-
Pickleball, please leave tennis courts alone!
-
"We're just trying not to waste taxpayers' money." I doubt she was saying that when they were tennis only and they had the workers paint new lines to add pickleball.
-
All around athlete....i dont care for pickleball...but if it keeps people active and healthy no problem.

Visited Toronto suburbs of Markham and Richmond Hill. They retrofitted part of the parking lots at their main community park with make shift fencing. You could drive right up to the courts. 10 courts bam and 8 courts, wham, bam thank you ma'am! Though during deep winter, the dump the extra snow there.
-
Tennis only. Best sign in the world. Best to build pickleball courts separate from tennis.
-
The city needs to build P B courts for them, preferably away from residential areas. People are entitled to peace and quiet. Noise can drive a human crazy.
-
P B noise is loud and persistent .....very annoying.

Change the allowed start and stop times may work best.
