One person died in a crash involving 20 cyclists in the Cape Town Cycle Tour. 35 000 cyclists took place in the 109 kilometre race, the world's largest timed cycling event. The Mother City opened its arms again with thousands of spectators lining the route to add their voices to the spectacular scenery on offer.
