3 years later, and he has been thoroughly redeemed, he proved wrong everyone who doubted him, the ones who detracted him and all those who mischaracterized him. John Oliver should issue a formal apology. I'm talking about Gritty, of course.

I don't know but smirking asking a female senator if she ever gets black out during a rape inquiry feels a little rapey in itself lol

One of the most tragic aspects of John Oliver's Last Week Tonight pieces is the fact that it becomes increasingly relevant by each passing year.

you've heard "i can't be racist, i've had black friends", not see "i couldn't have sexually assaulted a woman, i have female friends"

It’s crazy how similar his testimony was to R. Kelly’s meltdown looking back years later. Funny how one was rightfully shat on and sent to jail while the other is a SC Justice now.

"As is routine." That is the most subtle, perfect, truly savage thing to say in a courtroom, to someone questioning the validity of your polygraph.

  • The sad thing is not just that this is now a Supreme Court justice, but that this Man has been a judge for decades! Terrifying!

"You're looking for a fair process? You came to the wrong town at the wrong time." Did he literally just admit they weren't being fair?

"I hate to say it, but I'm starting to think that men might be too emotional for the supreme court." ICONIC.

Matt Damon nailed his Kavanaugh impression on SNL so hard after this hearing, down to every single aggressive sniff.

Just remember, that a sitting justice very obviously perjured themselves in front of a congressional committee.
