Fuck do I know. You tell me about it marketing boy
-
It's wild that we're living in a world where Boeing is having regular major failures and basically publicly executing a whistleblower yet they are only down 4% on the month. Sometimes i think I'm crazy to think we're living in some weird corporate dystopia, but then sometimes i look at the headlines
-
Boeing deserves a huge win here. They have proven they will do whatever it takes to protect shareholder value

audio got a little fucked at 2:44 but other than that another solid post by the Glarketer

Not surprised about the tourist fact. I went to China a week ago for a school trip and me and my gang of white bois were treated as straight up celebrities as if seeing white people was like a super rare event that you had to share with everyone you know.

I lived in China for a few years after finishing my undergraduate in 2013. When I got back to the US I recommended it to everyone. It was amazing in every way and I’ve never felt safer than when in Jingbian. However, 2013 was the year Xi took power. In the last 11 years it has fundamentally changed as a country. While I definitely think the people are still some of the loveliest and friendliest, the government’s obsessively authoritarian and nationalistic policies make it so hard to recommend anymore. For tourism? Absolutely go. But to live there anymore… eh, it’s tough. I still have my little Chinese flag hanging in my house though :)

I learned that Russian politics are heavily dictated by whatever the number one movie is at the time.

From HK here, and the Tsing Dao beer incident was pretty big, many people swapped to Asahi (Japanese beer) even with the price cuts on Tsing Dao beer 😂
-
That beginning russian cartoon you played was such an OG cartoon during the soviet era. Good catch, whoever put that in there was spot on with the pop culture reference
-
i like how when it shows xi and vlad taking a drink together they both wait until the other one drinks for as long as possible before drinking their own lmao
-
The sad thing about the SBF list is that if he did go on Tucker Carlson and cry about everything being woke he'd instantly make his money back on his next grift
-
Whoever put Pokémon Conquest music at 12:25 has my eternal love for giving me the biggest nostalgia blast in a long time

Using the Papers Please soundtrack in the Russia section goes haaaaard

When Marketing Monday comes out on Monday, you know the news is old af

I swear to God I love being Russian /s. I can never come back to my country without the risk of being maybe conscripted, not even to visit my family, heck I wasn't even able to visit my grandmother's grave (may she rest in peace) since the start of this horrendous war. This country has been on a political downwards spiral for over 2 decades, I just hope I'll be alive to see the day democracy comes back to Russia.

2:32 a real Cinderella story

3:21 bro said it is what it is 😭😭
