  • As a dark skin person I understand that People make mistakes especially when under the influence of alcohol. He is Human and no human is perfect. He said sorry and apologies let's move on. Overall his music is top notch and one of the best country singers currently out there.
  • Wasn’t much of an interview more like an interrogation ,trying to find some extreme racism when in reality a drunk guy said something he shouldn’t have.

Morgan said Nigga and his sales sky rocketed 😭😭

He could’ve run to the anti woke crowd and refused to address it, as many artists do when they do something wrong and embarrassing. He had plenty of support to do that, his popularity exploded. Instead he opened up, owned it, and apologized in earnest. This is the sort of mature dialogue we need in this country,

"Looked like it might even end his career" Really, when? Was this when his album downloads skyrocketed to 500%?

I'm black and I just heard of him today because I haven't been really keepin up with country music and I didn't know about this at first but after watching this interview I definitely understand where he comes from and he seems sincere with his apology, just started listening to his music and it's actually very good, I'm now a new fan of his

I'm Black and just know with stuff like this a person can have careless & ignorant moments. But if people are trying to better themselves, they deserve a second chance. Allow people to grow and change for the better.
  • These questions are so stupid they are acting like this is some FBI case and they are trying to break him. It just shows how worthless the news is
  • @staygoldnpnyboi
This is ridiculous. I love how every question is trying to set him up for failure.
  • @chatterbugmm
He seems to be truly sorry and humbled. Takes a strong person to admit you messed up.
  • @louismat319
If the man can admit he was wrong and apologize, I can accept it.
  • @truepatriot2093
“Might even end his career” He got more popular and sold more records after they tried smearing him. It’s the complete opposite. 😂
  • @JessStangerr
Love how abc got Michael strahan to interview him. This is absolutely stupid as hell
  • @timcarnes5843
Love how context isn’t being talked about out. He wasn’t using at as a racial slur much like anyone in the rap game using it as an “endearing” phrase for their friends. The word should never be used by anyone but to beat Morgan up without context is wrong too. Every rapper should apologize for it too
  • "Man gets interviewed for saying a bad word" Welcome to 2021. Cancel everyone who does something dumb.
  • @crossbonez1028
Man was getting interviewed as if he committed murder. My god he said a word he shouldn’t have…who cares? So many people say, it just doesn’t get filmed.

I’ve been casually listening to a country music station here in Nashville while at home and realized that there was one song I really started to like. “Thought you should know”. I went to YouTube to search for that video and this one comes up. God Bless this man. It seems like he is open to accepting his poor judgment and hope he understands that he has fans that my not look him. It’s the price of fame. I’m black btw.
  • They make way to much of this ! If a black person calls each other that it’s fine . So tired of everything you say being blown up .
