Hasan Piker thinks being a streamer is more "socially draining" than a real job, and ole Asmongold came to his defense when the entire internet came together to clown on that insane take.

Hasan: “Streaming is harder than working a real job” Also Hasan: Has never worked a normal job
  • @liltimmydidit
I worked roofing for 8 years and trimmed slate at a quarry for 7. Streaming will never be harder than that and I would trade jobs right now on god
  • Speaking from personal experience, streaming is a superior version of a customer service job (superior because unless you're a clout chaser you cover what you actually enjoy).
  • @MrSerious1
Asmon is about as out of touch as he could possibly get now. I think 7 digits in a bank account can do that to a person.
  • @ryukirito2616
Bro I’ve done nothing but worked hard jobs in my life. Asmond is full of shit! I make $100k trucking! I would LOVE to make $100k streaming!
  • @bleukettu4521
I work security and a lot of people like to mock me for being a "rent a cop". They don't know we're the first line if there's a fire, I've had someone try to stab me, I've had someone punch me, a guy shot himself in the face in front of me, I had to do CPR on a woman who overdosed, but yeah, streaming is really hard.

Hasan can't go anywhere w out his security detail. Imagine that idiot having security at his retail job?

I cant wake up at 11am on a Monday, work for 4 hours and then fuck off till tomorrow at 11am and expect to walk back into my workplace and expect to keep my job the next day...

I had the ultimate dream job (flying helicopters for the Air Force) and I made it a point to NEVER complain about the parts that weren't awesome (back spasms, being separated from family for up to a year, friends killed in crashes, etc...) I knew it was a job that the vast majority out there would love to do, warts and all. Rich streamers like Hasan and Zack (Asmon) should do the same and just say nothing. If they absolutely HAVE to say something, just say 'Hey, it has some challenges, it ain't all milk and honey". All they had to say.

A real job sucks. Its called Just over broke for a reason!
  • @Bassotronics
I started working at the age of 22. Had parents who helped me. Now I’m working for a record label so I pretty much work from home.
  • @JSledge825
I’m a school bus driver. I drive wonky buses that constantly break down and close to 70 screaming kids all day for 20 dollars an hour. And I only get five hours a day. It’s the only job available that hired me. Out of the hundreds I’ve applied for. And people want to say streaming is “hArD”. It’s really not. If it was so hard. Turn that camera off. You make thousands on a job you can choose to do your own hours.
  • @GiniMercury
The 400 viewers thing has me so confused lmao, what the fuck is asmon on? Streaming is one of the EASIEST jobs in the world, the "Mental Tax" is real, yeah, but thats not because "Streaming is Hard" its because "whatever your income relies on will stress you out". When you make something your job, and your food and shelter depend on it, that will be stressful no matter what your job is. I think someone who streams as their job with fewer viewers than Asmon, who has to ensure their content is good to make a liveable income, has WAY more agency to talk on the matter than someone like Asmon who can do literally anything on stream and still make loads of money because out of 20k average viewers, 10k will still show up for a black screen.

If he gets drained from socially interacting with people for 9hrs... he is an introvert then. Extroverts get energy from socializing with people.
  • @captainfeish6028
The reason Hasan and Asmon think streaming is draining can be summarized by something Rackets once said it’s hard to act like someone else for long periods of time which is what Asmon does.
  • @ernieb352
Asmon literally bans people for 1 comment he doesn't like, so yeah not much of a social pressure to deal with chat.
  • @de14jabs
Asmon has been on a tear of dropping Ls. He seriously needs to spend time outside
  • @rustyudder
Vet here, I have also had a gun in my face at work
  • Doing anything all the time is draining. I have been in the military or a carpenter for most of it. I started working when i was 14, while in the navy i realized something, i would rather work a physically taxing job than a desk/emotionally taxing one. Sitting and staring at a screen all day is fucking exhausting.
