www.newmexicopbs.org/ - Handed down from ancient times, the Hopi Prophesy delineates the path of peace, and harmony with nature. Where we have deviated from that path, the prophecy has correctly predicted the results. Which path lies before us? What does the future hold? Hear a message of tribal elders for our modern world.

I'm Welsh. A similar thing was done where the Welsh children were forced into schools. It's different, but similar in a lot of ways. The Welsh language & culture has survived centuries of people trying to destroy it. I hope native Americans language & culture can survive too. I just wish people wouldn't try to destroy other peoples.
  • I have Hopi by marriage in my family and studied Hopi prophecy for decades. Incredible! This is one of the reasons why I moved into the mountains 27 years ago. Very tough to live independently. But in this day and age, it was the best move. I look forward to throwing this smartphone away someday soon.

Horrible what happened to native peoples. These people are a national treasure and should be treated as such! My heart to you.

I still remember back in the summer of 1998,hitching a ride towards the Hopi rez on my way to the Navajo Nation.I was walking alone on the road saying to myself I would be happy dying here.I walked for a couple of hours and my thirst was quenching for water. It was mid day and the terrain was so hot.I knew something good was coming my way,but what?Something took out of Hollywood,CA so I knew it had to be good.I felt like I was In a movie and there was much ahead of me to learn. The moment I was picked up by some Hopi"s,I knew my life was going to change.I would pay hundreds of dollars to go through all that again.I could never imagine all the wisdom I was learning not just about life but my TRUE SELF and my purpose in this demented world.I still think about you and I thank you,I thank you.
  • No matter how many times one hears these stories it NEVER gets easier to take... What was permitted to happen to the First Nations yesterday and today should concern EVERY man and woman in North America because tomorrow the same things could be done to you too...

stop the wars, stop the greed, we are all brothers and sisters.
  • I have turned to nature, living off the grid for several decades, growing food and caring for the sacred land, and the animals, birds, and bees. So know we can create Heaven on Earth if we just choose the natural ways. I like that the Hopi Prophesy has a happy ending for those that choose to cooperate with nature as the Great Spirit has directed us to do.

I find it so amazing that we are hearing these same predictions (the waking up) all over the world. I have a lot of respect and reverence for the Hopi. I do believe our planet is going through a cleansing for the peace and joy that is coming.
  • My uncle lived with the Hopi Indians for three years and then wrote a book on the Hopi tribe and said they were the most awesome people on the planet

Thanks to all NATIVES in the World for Sharing YOUR WISDOM... its TIME for PEOPLE to LISTEN to what the NATIVES have to TEACH!!!
  • @pattyyoung9959
I've just come across this. Our (Australian) indigenous people are also great protectors and carers of the land. As I get older and hopefully have gotten wiser, I can appreciate and admire their wisdom and knowledge more and more.

The Hopi possess a direct line to the divine spirit. They are his special people. You are looking at a clan in New Mexico. There is a Hopi reservation in Arizona not far from Canyon de Chelly and Chaco Canyon. The attempt to mainstream society was of good intention. But the brutality and lack of respect was a disgrace. No one can stop progress. I am grateful for those native nations that have held to their language, traditions and culture. In these times, we could learn much from them. Thanks for sharing.

The Hopi are the people of the land. Watchers from Ancient times. Bless them on their journey. It's not an easy one...

Stand strong all Native Americans.Your cultures are incredible.A Hopi woman let me go up on a sacred Mesa once, a huge honour for me.
  • My heart is truly sorrowful for the people of the land. I cannot express how intense the energy is that my own soul cries for the pain our great mother is enduring. How beautiful it must have been not all too long ago. This civil concept is anything but. The spirits are moving and things will change.
  • I’m a white woman 63 years old and what a beautiful message to Springs to the humanity thank you so much I hope everyone tries to do something towards the Hopi tradition to make this world a better place thank you

All the divisions created through race, religion, political affiliation, economic class, ect. have distracted our minds away from God's instructions...Many have forgotten their purpose here to protect & perserve Gods creation, therefore, many mistakes are made that ultimately hurt ourselves and those around us. Thank you Hopi elders for your warnings & wisdom♡ I pray enough of us listen....God help us!
  • My Grandma Pearl was brought to Carson City, Nevada. She was placed in the Stewart Indian school. My heart breaks the more I learn about what she endured. She wasn’t angry. She taught me how to love.
  • As one of the Light Warriors sent to assist with the ascension of Mother Earth and all Humanity I am grateful for all the indigenous teachings and plan to learn as much as I can from all Nations Elders ! Love and Light to all ! ❤
