How to Create Events on Eventbrite and Share to Facebook

Published 2022-10-13
If you are wanting to up your game on creating events, then this edition of Social Minutes with Mona is for YOU!

Today I'm going over the instructions on how you can create an Event on Eventbrite and then share the Event to Facebook Events (as well as your business page and a group you admin on Facebook.)

One way to increase the filled seats at your events is to promote the event, and I have learned a few tricks along the way. This is one of them.

I've had great success with using Eventbrite and Facebook and one more tip I would offer, but did not mention in this mini-training, is to create your Live Event on Facebook first, so Facebook will send out a notification to (some of) your followers when you create the event, and then send another notification about 10-15 minutes before you go Live.

There are also more options on ways to promoted through Eventbrite, but I have not used any of the paid features. I'm sure they are great.

So the other day I was given the task of publicizing our local technology clubs meeting and it was suggested that I put it on Eventbrite. Having no experience in doing so I went to YouTube as you do and looked for a video on how to do it when this video popped up. How absolutely wonderful it was to follow your instructions step by step and the next thing you know I had our event posted not only on Eventbrite but by following your instructions it moved automatically into an event on our Facebook page. Thank you for making an easy to understand and use video
  • This was great, Most time I do what I know and never go to the other things that need attention, So Thank you for the step-by-step tutorial.
