This is the Roman who tore that million dollar cheque in the first episode and threw it at the poor child. He is back
-
Greg’s evil smile towards shiv when he sold her out to Kendall was SO cold
-
Alright but how about Tom bitching at Greg because his current Gregs aren't Gregging well enough. It took four seasons of masterful writing to fully flesh out the new verb "Gregging" and the entire process was glorious 😂😂😂
-
Shiv got Greg off balance with the “Do you find me attractive, Gregory?” but then she didn’t realise that her threats didn’t have much weight to them and even Logan accepted when Greg had some leverage to wield. It was like Kendall and the banker, they think they can use their status to intimidate and get what they want but none of them have the gravitas to pull it off and they both fail.
-
What doesn’t make sense is Shiv still rocking with Matsson when he pretty much says she’s not gonna be CEO and he sold her out to Greg! She’s offering Mattson the world for nothing, and Greg just asked for a small sweetener as a retuned favor, but he gets threatened. She is unhinged because she just has to betray her family even when it doesn’t make sense.
-
Roman was feeling the power. He saw the very real opportunity to get a president in his pocket, to literally be a king-maker like his dad, and he just ran with it. He was probably the most like Logan this episode than any of the children have ever been. When Ken was waffling on a moral level, and Roman was telling him that it didn’t matter, that they had a chance to motorboat America, I was seeing shadows of Logan and his brother.
-
Roman was more than annoying...he was bordering on being evil.
-
I disagree about Shiv being like Logan. Logan knew enough to work Greg. Shiv couldn't even make a token deal.
-
Tom’s lines are crazy witty and funny its not even fair to the other characters.
-
It is going to end up in Mutually Assured Destruction between the three Roy kids. The funeral episode has the potential to be the best one yet...
-
every episode builds more and more tension. so bittersweet waiting for the ending of this show
-
I think the opposite will happen, where Greg might be one of the few that coming out of this rising, probably taking Tom's place with all the dirt he's got on him. He IS the Littlefinger of this show, aka. The cockcroach who survive through it all because everyone thought of him as insignificant. While I personally despite Greg, but the Gregs of the world always thrive somehow, like the old guards.

Connor won’t be bitter. “Alas Kentucky.” -Connor Roy
-
This episode was incredibly tense and gripping. One of the best episodes of the show.
-
Kendall, who is totally disloyal, hates disloyalty.
-
I think Shiv knows Mats won't make her the CEO of Waystar, but she still needs the deal to go through so she can get paid and buy PGN
-
Ken is absolutely self-serving.
-
I will say for Shiv, she’s always hated Mencken. She does kinda swing whichever way it suits her better politically, but she’s always thought since Logan & Roman were courting him that he’s just too extreme and bad for the country—she could barely stand to take a picture with him when Logan made her.

My favorite post-succession discussions!!!

They were talking about putting producer guy on the air to explain Wisconsin until the wasabi incident put that idea off the table. A pivotal but seemingly random event.
