I have done this little mod, and it works! I suggest using a right angle plug, otherwise the straight plug will stick out too far of the amp. A right angle plug, with about 6”-8” cable length will drop down behind the back panel of the amp, and out of the way.

Came across a Marshall VS232 that made a Howling/Wooooo Sound when you turned it on, almost like a train whistle, If you even looked at the reverb knob it would get LOUD as HELL ( never been to Hell, Heard it is pretty Loud ) Tried this Mod in the Reverb Return on the PCB and BINGO - The Howling Hell was Tamed.....
  • Can you give me a update on the wire? Has it lasted 10 years? I remember when you first made this video but I figured I’d be safe and wait a decade before I attempted this. Thanks
  • Is there any way using this can hurt or adversely affect the amp?
