Noodle did all this animation, research and editing just to have an excuse to show off his fishsona
  • Noodle took the time to make a whole damn fish design of himself for this video

When you said Ween made a song for Spongebob, there is a 0% chance I would’ve guessed they made Loop De Loop of all songs. I don’t know what I would’ve guessed, but I know that Loop De Loop was a the end of the list and that every other Spongebob song was on there multiple times. I mean, it makes sense, I just literally would never think “Oh yeah, these guys made the song for the shoe tying episode from season 2”
  • @YourLocalCatboy
the mark's pizzeria ad hit me like a freight train; i went to college in western new york, where they are, and completely fucking forgot about its existence.
  • @ThatSpiceBoy
The "Huh" reference killed me, I love that you did that lol
  • There's something so surreal seeing a SpongeBob song being played by a professional band as an official performance
  • @SadBlueGirl
The grainy video alongside the aspect ratio as well as the animation and background quality and editing are top tier but the fact that the audio is a little muffled like it was on those tube tvs is fucking immaculate and adds so much holy shit
  • @Hutch2Much
i absolutely love how ween sent the guys making an ocean-themed show a song about tying shoes and the crew was like “yeah we can make that an episode”
  • I got to see Ween’s first show after Stephen died and they played Loop de Loop (and ocean man of course). It was magical. Oh, and it was the eve of my 20th birthday.

SpongeBob is so nostalgic for me, not just because I watched it all the time as a child, but it just reminds me of growing up in a coastal state. And it’s not only that it reminds me of the ocean, it just encapsulates the vibe of aquarium employees that would enthusiastically answer any questions you had and give you shiny trinkets like you’re a crow. I never really pieced that together as a kid, but now I’m not surprised he worked in an aquarium. Everything about him and his show embodied the places i adored when i was young

The first 3 seasons of Spongebob are nothing short of magical. I know people who DIDN'T grow up with it, are functioning adults, got shown the show and fell in love with it on the spot. It's just really freaking good television. Ween is just friggin fantastic of course, and knowing that they're intertwined like that is just...Really flippin' neat. Thanks noodle, keep doin you. This vid has some insane production value, props!

I feel like noodle’s videos perfectly encapsulate early 2000’s broadcasting, modern day brain rot, and some actually interesting hyper-fixation your high friend blurted out at 1am
  • I started listening to Ween in 2019. They have become my favorite band over the last several years. It was a WatchMojo video of all places, "10 weirdest bands", that led me to them. One of the songs that they featured caught my ear, Voodoo Lady. It was neat when I started diving into their discography and realized that they were the creators of Ocean Man. That song was a part of my childhood through the credits of The SpongeBob Movie. Then I found out a bit later that they also wrote the song Loop De Loop for the episode where SpongeBob teaches Patrick to tie his shoes. I have read and heard this story multiple times now through different videos and articles but I am no less enthusiastic to here you tell it with your editing and writing ability.
