Metro Blue Line Cab View (w. P2020 158) from Long Beach to Los Angeles - Ride the Last of the P2020s

Published 2022-06-08
Throwing back in time to the declining days of the P2020s, the retirement process would begin the day after filming this cab view from Long Beach to Los Angeles as cars #166 and #167 would be the first set to be decommissioned. The video is inspired by the Interurban Film's video of the final cab view/ride of the Pacific Electric Railway from Los Angeles to Long Beach in late March 1961. While the events from back then seem similar to the P2020 retirement, I had an idea of implementing the intro onto this video for inspiration. Hope y'all enjoy this cab view as it would be the last ever full cab view on a Nippon Sharyo train.

The operator hand gestures throughout the ride likes he's pissed at everything but theres nothing to be mad at the same time🧐
  • This car is unique because of its 'Hybrid Horn'. I am thankful to have preserved this car's Electronic Horn Control Unit, and it is now being stored a spare part for LA Metro 144 at OERM.
