This is how tracks are laid down. For example it’s how Jeff Lynn (ELO) alone can become a nearly complete orchestra all by himself. When he does separate the tracks for the orchestra to play, the music is all written for them. So this video is really even more impressive than first appreciated.

One of the first songs I learned to strum on way back in 1983. Learned on my first guitar, which by coincidence, was a 1972 model Alvarez. Great sound.
