  • So glad I got to paint your super sick bike camper!! SUCH A FUN EXPERIENCE WITH YOU GUYS!
  • @Felix24148
A few pieces of advice. Put slime sealant in all of your tubes for the tires to help prevent leaks. Also, get stronger tubes. The regular ones are not used to taking that much weight. Your rear wheelbase also needs to be widened for more stability. Lastly, add thin flexible solar panels to the roof and other available places. That way the battery can still get a charge while you're in motion. Then you could take it on a longer road trip. In fact, what if you built another one and dual road tripped them? That would make for an interesting video, or maybe a miniseries.

πŸ’‘πŸ’‘Idea: build the camper all the way around the bike so the person pedalling is protected from the weather just put windows around the front and sides and mirrors

Subscribed, we need a versions 3. This could fix a lot homeless problems world wide if built in a reasonable price range.

Make a pop-up roof, like it's done in other campers, because it is a really good thing! With it, you can lower the center of mass & adds an extra space when needed! And also you can install solar panels, to charge your battery

Hurricane Hilary was so powerful one leaf fell of my tree

I think you should have made it as a tandem bike so you both could have peddled, put an electric motor in the front wheel to make it 3 wheel drive, also a solar panel on the roof or rear in order to top off or recharge the batteries. Loved the video, keep it up. John S.

A big thumbs up πŸ‘ from an old(62year old) guy. Love your energy and enthusiasm. So refreshing to see positive young people being creative πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ’ͺπŸ’ͺ

You should build one with a tandem bike on the front. Then you can share the pedaling and truly be able to hang out together during the ride. Also maybe add a couple of solar panels on the roof and a solar controller to help recharge the battery. Also maybe widen the axle and add fender flares. That will help greatly with stability. Probably would be wise to go with motorcycle grade tires on the rear. The bike tires seem to not hold up well.

Next idea; make the tires tubeless with inner foam protection.
  • @MegaRetr
Next idea: make the tires tubeless with inner foam protection! Why not?
  • Have y'all considered using a tandem bike so you could both share the pedaling tasks? It would also be more weight on the front with both of you up there.
  • @danandkiko
That is a HUGE improvement from the first version, and a beautiful camper. Safer too. Maybe next time have several spare tubes, tools and you'll be set.
  • @shoelacedonkey
That thing is fantastic! Especialy impressive that you guys are riding it through the US, infamously unhospitable for bikes, let alone camperbikes. I live in the Netherlands and have never seen anything like it, it's inspiring really. πŸ˜„

For future reference, you should put electric tape around the inner rim of your wheel (where the inner tube rests against the spokes). Having that much weight on your tires and going over rough terrain causes the spokes to push into the tube popping it. A couple layers of electrical tape adds extra layers of protection. Great video as always boys Your BMX friend 😎✌️

The battery swap on that grinder was impressive
