So to explain the chest in the end disappearing, the game resets the obsidian platform every time a player loads into the end so that way they dont just fall to their deaths, when it resets the platform it removed the chest and set the items to the center of the platform, similar to how if a chest is broken inside the end portal it will spawn at your spawn in the overworld

the way you died in countless times specially right after you picked up the experience points from the ender dragon really hurts, but like physically.

Endermen occasionally spawn in with grass blocks which is another way you can get grass in this kind of situation, but I really admire your clever use of version-hopping throughout the video. Good stuff!
