I took on this mix job from a FaceBook audio forum request. The client was having trouble with his vocals sounding thin and not sitting well in his mix. I started from scratch with a whole new mix from the beginning. He was very pleased with what I was able to do with the same vocal tracks. I performed a simple doubling effect, added lots of low end and a bit of sparkle as well as new reverb and delay. What you hear in this video is the premaster (all other tracks shown but not heard). This premaster track was sent through Harrison Mixbus 32c before mastering back in Logic Pro.
