just two years before this she was the canadian novice champion.... she rose up thru the canadian ranks very quickly... she was the canadian bronze medalist in her first try during this season. we all knew she had what it takes to what eventually took place in 2010 :)

I agree. She had huge jumps and great speed, and a very nice feel for the music. All she needed was refinement and more expression.
  • Definitely, even in her early years her raw talent was apparent, she just needed experience and refinement.
  • Like most skaters out of the junior ranks. She improved so much each year. And she needed the lutz, which she acquired eventually.

@figureskatingforlife you are right. she did have a single lutz. but it's because she popped her intended triple. she landed a 3lutz (flutz) later on in the program.
  • She has refined the entry to her lutz several times to get it to be a consistent jump, many skaters don't bother fixing the flutzes
  • @lutz84
She must be one of the few who successfully fixed her lutz entry .... Her lutz entry is a pronounced outside edge since, probably, 2004
