The super special moves/ultimate attacks for all characters in J-Stars Victory Vs on Playstation 3. This game is for Shonen Jump characters! Support characters don't have ultimates obviously. That includes Neuro, Allen, Lala, Kuroko, Hisoka, etc. Although all of the trailers show Yusuke using his ultimate in his demon form, it's impossible to actually use it in that form. :l

  • Jonathan’s Ultimate alone shows more expressions and effort than the entirety of Jump Force.

A few things this game has that Jump Force lacks: 1. This game embraces the cartoony art styles of the characters and their worlds and doesn’t try to make them look realistic, so they seem more appealing to look at despite being in an older game. 2. While the story is non existent, it still just lets the characters be themselves and interact in cool ways, so it’s much more fun and relaxing by comparison. 3. There’s more variety in the J Stars’ roster. Jump Force focuses primarily on big name action oriented stories, and combined with the smaller roster, the variety is practically non existent. In J Stars, we had a few some slice of life characters along with action heroes, and among the action heroes were characters who weren’t well known (at least here in the West). Sure, the slice of life characters were relegated to assists, but they still had a role nonetheless, and made the roster more colorful. 4. The colorful backgrounds that show up as the ultimates are activated bring more focus to the attacks, and the more relaxed pacing makes the motions easier to follow, unlike in Jump Force, where there’s an emphasis on high speed editing and a lack of colorful backgrounds to make the attacks pop more. 5. The background music in J Stars is much more unique. Each series in the game gets their own theme to match their style, which allows for variety. Meanwhile, Jump Force just kind of has the same background theme for every fight. At least, I think it does? To be honest, I almost never notice the music as I fight, it’s so fucking bland. The only theme I can recognize is the main theme for the game that plays in the opening and hub.

Everyone's pissed about the lack of Jotaro or DIO, while I'm just happy that my precious boy Jonathan is here. :)
  • @DrWaa
Finally, I can have Jonathan joestar fight kenshiro
  • @sirius5192
The fact that this looks better than jump force hurts me
  • J Star Victory Vs is so underrated that it actually needs to be remade by the same company, but this time with new characters from Jump Force and dlcs some time in the future.
  • @Poboi_Draws
At the time I didn’t know some of these characters in J-Stars, and I think that’s the beauty of it, the fact that this goes to show how vast the world of Jump can be. I feel like Jump Force only really cares about the big battle anime ip’s and don’t really shed light on the lesser known series so it doesn’t feel as special.
  • @MrDarkAkuma
Jonathan got me all excited like a fuckin 5 year old. His ultimate was THAT epic.
  • @Vishkujo
Fairy Tail isn't from Shonen Jump! Neither are Inuyasha, Full Metal Alchemist, Tokyo Ghoul, Attack on Titan, Gurren Lagann, Kill la Kill, Akame ga Kill, Sword Art Online, Soul Eater, Zatch Bell, Sailor Moon, Nanatsu no Taizai (Seven Deadly Sins), or Parasyte This is a game for Weekly Shonen Jump characters. Characters from other magazines like the series mentioned above (and many others in the comments here) have no chance of being in it.
  • @arai_san
I didn't like this game before...but that all changed when Jump Force came. Now I feel better appreciation for this game. It has more characters, actual environments that are destructive, characters that are actually expressive, and finishers that are just too satisfying for their own good. The story in this game is still pretty stale and meh, but at the very least, its quality of gameplay and detail are better than Jump Force...that's right, I said it.
  • @taiyosato3899
This game is still bettter then Jump Force. The reason is simply. There is no Gintoki in jump force
  • @Elnecrofilo
when this game was realised, nobody knew who saiki kusou was
  • @Goldmight
Wish we had a competitive 3v3 2D fighting game with the shonen jump roster. Imagine dragon ball fighterz, but with the rest of shonen jump.
  • @jacobj7561
People need to stop asking for characters that aren't Shonen Jump This is J stars JUMP stars
  • @Ecchixxx96
Facial animations...thats all jump force really needed...and this game had it.
  • @familyplayer1
So much people asking for non-Shonen Jump characters... Please read the comments or know about what the game is celebrating in the first place before you complain...
