I hear all your feedback :) the physics will be improved, all of his abilities have been buffed, the Bullet Dash now slows down to a halt instead of arresting it completely, and the parkour is being worked on. What I will say in defense of the new art is the original trailer was more heavily inspired by Rayman Origins, whereas the new art direction is inspired directly from the OVA and Junio anims. I definitely want to bring back a better feeling of verticality and moodiness, but I don’t think Freedom will contain a complex 2D lighting system ala Rayman or Ori so most of the mood will come from simply better level design and denser vegetation.

The “bullet dash” when i last checked it is based on when sonic dashes into the big rock in the animated intro

You should try out Sonic Galactic, it’s a really good 2D Sonic fangame that not only includes a playable Fang alongside Sonic, Tails and Knuckles, but its own original character who actually plays surprisingly well and fits right in with the others

eggman hates furries is a really good boss rush-esque sonic game, unfortunately you can beat it in like less than 1 hour but i definitely recommend it

I like how SAGE games actually let you play as other characters besides sanic.

That magnet shield you got in Sonic Robo Blast is like the lightning shield, but instead of the double jump, you actually get the Homing Attack, which makes sense since it's a magnet.

I like your channel because 1. Your channel icon is Cyndaquil and I love that Pokemon 2. You make Sonic videos and I like Sonic and 3. You are just a good person in general.

The sole reason why I love fan games. The creator can tackle on a franchise he/she loves and uses its physics and gameplay to make an astounding game and can test the person’s ability on making good games. Sonic especially has good ones and although some bad, can improve to be great! I don’t think Sega should hire them, but hot damn these are professional!
