My mom screamed when Jamie poured fish sauce and olive oil. It was shocking to see Indonesian gado gado mixed with Chinese + Italian ingredients. Mom traumatized. 😂

Im indonesian, i eat a lot of gado gado in side of the road like every single day. And no ones put the expensive ingridient such a olive oil in gado gado. Gado gado it just a boiled veggies, A Ricecake that we called "Lontong/Ketupat", Egg, and fried tofu mixed with peanut sauce that ground together with chillies and the friends. Gado gado it's our comfort food and it's so heartbreaking to look someone who messed up gado gado so bad like jamie did.

As an Indonesian, gado gado is just throw some peanut sauce, vegetable, tofu, egg into one, that's it.. not hard at all and even don't need oil
