We've done some hard Pokemon challenges in the past, but usually they were a solo Pokemon challenge run. What if we still did a really difficult challenge... but with a full team using hardcore nuzlocke rules and only fusions in crazy gameplay? Today we find out: can I beat a Pokemon Infinite Fusion Hardcore Nuzlocke!? No items and no overleveling!

Monotype Hardcore Nuzlocke Ruleset:
(1) If a Pokémon faints, it must be permanently boxed or released.
(2) Only the first new Pokémon encountered in each Route/Area can be caught.
(3) No Legendaries/Mythicals, duplicates, or same-evolution-line Pokémon can be caught or used. If a duplicate is encountered, the next unique type-specific Pokémon encounter can be caught.
(4) Additional Pokémon may be caught for the purpose of HM use, but these may not be used in battle at any time during the run.
(5) No Items can be used in battle (Held Items are allowed).
(6) Party Pokémon levels are limited to the highest level Pokémon of the next Gym Leader or Elite 4 Member. So long as your Pokémon are at or below the level cap when the Gym Leader/Elite 4 Member battle starts, they can level up mid-battle.
(7) "Set" Battle Mode must be used at all times.
(8) No connecting with other games for the purposes of importing Pokémon, Items, etc.

The Charizard Aerodactyl fusion that Blaine uses is Tigrex from Monster Hunter. Zapmolcuno is a reference to the Pokemon Adventures manga which had Team Rocket do the same thing and fuse them.

The fact that you actually beat Zapmolcuno on your first try in this blind nuzlocke run is really impressive. The only other run I've seen got swept to high heaven.

My favorite fusion that I used for far too long: Butterdos. Body of Gyarados and the compound eyes of butterfree. It made all the moves later on so devastating.

Hi Silph, what a great video! Also I want to point you that you can change the sprites of the fusions if they have alt ones (some do). Lastly, the safari zone encounters are actually 5, because if you catch them they will say the area where you caught them (like Area 1 , Area 2 ecc). There is also a powerful mon in Area 5 hidden in a structure :)
