One thing about magic poser is that without premium you can only use one model in a scene and you only get the default male model. If you only draw men and don't draw interactions between characters then I guess the app is perfect for you.

My main way to get references is usually just by taking-out my camera and taking a picture of what I want to draw. I got a bit better at photography just by taking these liminal landscape backgrounds. I can even cheat and use my photos as the background of my drawings if I feel lazy enough. As for poses I just use myself. Though, if I need to draw a female then I'd use line of action to refresh myself with the anatomy. You'd be surprised how much you can do just by examining yourself I haven't done too many indoor environments, but I tend to just use Blender and model everything that way. Is it overkill? Absolutely! Though, it helps me learn how to 3D model at the same time. Finally, if I need to research a specific style, then I just take a bunch of screenshots of the show/art/animation/thing that has the style I'm looking for, and examine them to learn the style more thoroughly. These things may not be for everyone, but I personally I find it fun, rewarding, hassle free (no need to deal with licensing), I learn new skills, and it gets me out of the house more often. Wins all-around!

Honestly milanote will probably help me out in the future, I got a notebook I've been keeping for Oc lore/writing, and I go over it and change stuff alot. The note thing would probably make it easier. Thx for the advice Celestia

Pinterest is a central app that I use when I only need images for reference or topic. If I need the details, I can just reverse image search the image.
