There's nothing I don't love about this animatic: 1. Ares having all the animals associated with him on his armor 2. Ares turning into two animals associated with him (serpent, wolf) 3. Aphrodite's smug-ass smile after Ares is done with his verse 4. Athena not only doing an UNO reverse card but also pulling it off better and way more intimidating 5. Aphrodite carrying Ares after Ares gets the shit scared out of him

This might actually be my favourite animatic of this part? Your Area is just... chef kiss and I simply cannot get over that you did all this on goddamn PAPER, you absolute mad lad. But seriously, the fluidity of Ares' movements here, without sacrificing any sense of power, is so impressive. And the animal transformations! They're so cool!! And then we have Ares hiding behind Aphrodite before ending up in her arms, which honestly seems very on-brand for the Olympian Failson.
