Amazing structure and clever design to create so much space. This to me is more impressive than Burj Kalifa!

B1M makes me feel like I've travelled the entire world without going anywhere

I kinda realised that the Merdeka tower went for “quality than quantity”. They could have spent all the money to make it taller than Burj Khalifa. Instead they spent all the money making its infrastructure so unique and making the building sturdy/safe for the coming future. The merdeka tower look like a diamond and sure will be the gem of Malaysia

Every time I go back to Kuala Lumpur the skyline has changed!

Its funny how the Petronas Twins started all the feuds after beating Sears Tower in the 90's, and now KL118 is the last megatall under construction. Kuala Lumpur really plays a huge role in skyscraper's race.
  • @CrabappleKing
I remember being in KL last January and thinking 'boy oh boy that's a tall building'. Didn't know it was going to be the second tallest ever!
  • Merdeka 118 building.. I'm very proud that I'm working there as a site engineer , we are EVERSENDAI , we installing the main steel structures.. really I'm very happy 🙏
  • @vikramganasen
The Petronas Twin Tower is still is the tallest twin skyscrapers in the world. Simply marvelous architecture.

Love and admiration for Malaysia from your neighbor Vietnam 🇻🇳🇲🇾
  • Don’t worry. I plan on building more megatalls on my Minecraft world 😆
  • @jakesweet1000
i cannot believe how small the petronas towers look in the background, ive seen them in person and they are scarily tall.
  • Malaysia now already planning on new megatall skyscraper called Tradewinds. Maybe about 700+ tall. The design has been published recently.
  • @zacabdul420
The building is so huge the Spire on top of it is a building itself for an observation deck. It's not just a simple spire to increase its height.
  • @samdekker90
Love Kuala Lumpur. Keen to get back there once this tower opens up!
  • Its crazy. I remember visiting Kuala Lumpur with my Dad when i was a child, when the Petronas Towers were the highest buildings in the world. And today, they're not even the highest in the city.

  • @hongluzhang7771
it is very understandable Malaysia needs a modern symbol like this, and hope the building can bring Malaysia a better chance to recover from the pandemic and stimulate more economic growth.
