thanks for all the good times in dbd, hope you come along with me for the next leg of my journey 💙💙

It’s sad to hear especially considering your Hardcore Survivor series was one, if not the most entertaining series on YouTube for DBD, but I’m happy that you are doing something that makes you feel more content. It’s tough because with content creators it often feels like they’re forced to be tied to one product and sometimes it shows in their face and expressions that they’re not really having fun with it anymore, so full respect to those that risk viewership in order to do something that makes them feel more engaged and happier.

Regardless if you like or dislike it, it takes courage to move on. Have fun on this new journey you're now taking.

Life is WAYYYYY too short to not actively enjoy what you’re doing man. I honestly just found the channel on this video, but I play dbd. Awesome hearing you’re happy and doing what you like, everyone deserves that. Best of luck.
  • I relate to this video on a lot of levels. Happy to see you doing what makes you happy. ❤️

I support the creators that want better for themselves.
  • More people need to do this in order for BHVR to want to do anything. More importantly you are doing what’s best for you, good for you man and good luck!

Honestly bud your reasons for not playing DbD are my reasons. I don't feel comfortable playing a game where the devs just don't care to fix such a glaring issue. Sorry I haven't been around lately. I'll try to make it to more of your streams because I like you personally. I think you're a good dude, talented. I can't wait to see you again. ❤

Whats interesting, now 9 months later, is that this video states multiple times that he will be a variety streamer, yet on Twitch every VOD and schedule is Dark and Darker. Im not coming in with hate at all, but it interesting thst he basically just swapped one game for another, and not a variety of games. The big thing to note to me here is that if he stops Dark and Darker his viewer base will most likey plummet again, forcing a 2nd rebuilding. Im not sure how many of those he can sustain. Just an interesting thing I noticed. 🤔

This is a sad day. I'll still pop in and see ya dowsey. Heartbroken to never see Hardcore again, watched all the seasons multiple times and it taught me a lot. Good luck with all your endeavors man. Much love.
  • @lupu3718
I have started played dbd because of you. We'll miss your presence in the game, Dowsey!
  • @SLKibara
Watching this makes me wonder if we're playing the same game. Especially with the anniversary coming up, my games has been pretty fun even as a solo queue survivor. So this comes as very surprising to me. I don't blame you for quitting, but sadly I don't find your other content interesting. It's been fun to watch you Dowsey. Goodluck with your future endeavours!

You're so rude to people in your chat. It's quite disgusting how often I saw that in your streams. I'm done supporting you.
  • @PastorSkeptic
Your consistency in your posting has spoken louder than your words in this video ever can. You don't seem happier to me. You seem lost. I feel for you man, and I know you're going through it, but DBD was your bread and butter. Why set something in stone so strictly when you don't have to? Why not just post DBD content on occasion when you feel like it? What did Behavior do that was so upsetting to you to just quit completely? Your views and sub counts have diminished greatly since you left the DBD community. Forgive me for my ignorance, but I genuinely think you should consider coming back.
  • @SmoughTown
I think you've made the right call mate. I suffer from something similar to you, and like you It's so hard to control It gets worse when I am doing something I hate, so I totally appreciate walking away and feeling that weight off your shoulder. Best of luck bro, mental health always comes first.
  • @laiky4373
It was a good run, Dowsey boi! Good for you for standing your ground and doing what fulfils you. I cannot even begin to comprehend how difficult it must be to come to terms with and make a decision like this when a large portion of your subscriber base came for DBD content initially. The truth is, you may lose some viewers. But you'll gain so much more in the long run if you're genuinely enjoying what you do. Your content is fantastic, driven by your kind, genuine nature and brilliant sense of humour. Your mental wellbeing will thank you <3

I hope you enjoy applying for jobs
  • Wonderful work on the half marathon, I know this isn’t much but I hope it helps nonetheless. Excited to see you playing games now, have been a sick and tired of dbd myself for a long time now, and love that now I can see you playing other, amazing games.
